My original intention was to send this update either yesterday before I left Oldenburg or once I got back to Owensboro last night. I apologize for the delay.

After Mass in the Sister’s Chapel, we jumped back into the conversation. The following teams were created following significant and very intentional discussion.

1. Program and Schedule Team: The team will include Julie Rashid, Patrick Mosher, Connie Neeson and Ken Rasp.

2. Liturgy and Prayer Team: The team will include Therese Zins and Connie Neeson. We talked about the need to add one or two of our favorite friars to this important committee.

3. Logistics Team: Those involved will be Clarissa Millner, Rod Neeson, and Kathy Hooper.

I left the Oldenburg yesterday feeling refreshed in spirit. We gathered and became a team. Our gifts, experiences and personalities meshed well as prayerfully discerned a direction for this event. Personally I am excited and look forward to sharing more as each team works on the task assigned. As I stated in an earlier post, we welcome, actually encourage, your participation. Your insight and thoughts are valued and appreciated. Let us know on which committee you would like to serve.
