JTO Connect 2017 Registration Process is OPEN

I am excited to announce that the Registration process for JTO Connect 2017 is OPEN.  On behalf of the Planning Team, we invite you to prayerfully consider joining us for a weekend of prayer, reflection, formation, fellowship and fun.

 

The theme chosen for JTO Connect 2017 is PeaceMaking – Living the Peace Prayer of St. Francis.  Personally speaking, this prayer somehow sets at the epicenter of what it means to be a Franciscan.  More than just a prayer, it provides a “call” to a lifestyle of holiness, discipleship and Christ-centeredness.  I look forward to this unique opportunity to internalize and reflect upon what it means to be at Peace with Myself, at Peace in My World, at Peace in The World and at Peace with God.  Like at the Conventions or our youth, I am especially intrigued to share and connect with my fellow JTOers on this important topic.

 

I am incredibly excited to announce that Brother Al Mascia, OFM has agreed to join us for the weekend as keynote speaker.  The following description of Brother Al can be found on his website:

 

In addition to spreading Franciscan joy and spirituality as an itinerant friar minstrel, Bro. Al continues to help grow and develop the Song and Spirit Institute for Peace, which he co-founded with Maggid Steve Klaper and artist Mary Gilhuly in Berkley, MI.  This award-winning ecumenical and interreligious project provides southeast Michigan (and beyond) with the means and opportunity to promote peace and reconciliation at the very grassroots level through the arts, music, study, organic gardening and community service.

  • When – Friday, July 28 to Sunday, July 30, 2017

  •  Who – JTOers, their family, their friends – actually anyone who feels called to join us!

  • Cost of the Weekend

    • Room and Board at the Spiritual Center of Maria Stein
      • $380 two people in a single private room with a private bath
      • $250 for a one person in a single room with a private bath
      • AFTER May 26, add $50 per person!
    • Board only (no housing needed at the Spiritual Center at Maria Stein)
      • $150 per person
      • AFTER May 26, add $20 per person
    • Local Hotel Listing – hotels near the Spiritual Center of Maria Stein
    • Less expensive room options are available at the Spiritual Center of Maria Stein. Contact Therese Zins for additional information.
  • Registration Process
    • Click on JTO Connect 2017 Registration Form, print the form, complete it and return it to Therese Zins with your Registration Down Payment/Fee
    • Print the attached JTO Connect 2017 Registration Form, complete it and return to Therese Zins with the Registration Down Payment/Fee
  • Payment
    • Down Payment: $100 due at time of Registration
    • Registration Fee: Balance due by July 8, 2017
